Compact Mirror

This product was created for the competition Tokyo Midtown Award 2018. A mirror with a hook that can be hooked and fixed anywhere, depicting the moon and the sun drawn on a scroll. The hanging mirror is a portable mirror that was born from an attempt to incorporate the traditional interior decoration of the hanging scroll into a modern and minimalistic lifestyle in Tokyo. Not only can you dress up smartly anytime, anywhere, but also enjoy the small scenes reminiscent of hanging mirrors. While conscious of the culture of ancient Japan, he transformed the scene drawn on a scroll into a minimalistic expression typical of Tokyo today.
